Conference announcement

On behalf of the Organising Committee, we are pleased to invite you to the Biennial Conference of the Southern African Association of Geomorphologists. This year the conference will be held from 12-18 September 2019 in Chintsa East, a coastal village north of East London. A preconference excursion will be based in the Maclear area (Tsitsa River Catchment), Eastern Cape, and a post conference workshop will also form part of the meeting. The participation of early career scholars and postgraduate research researchers is positively encouraged.

Dates & Location

12-15 September: Preconference Excursion: Soil erosion in the Tsitsa River Catchment, Eastern Cape

16-17 September: SAAG Conference paper presentations (Chintsa East, Eastern Cape)

18 September: SAAG Workshop - erosion process, land degradation and rehabilitation

All relevant information concerning the venue, programme, accommodation and events will be found on the conference website at http://saageomorph.wixsite.com/saag/2019-conference. A conference circular with further information will be available in March. This will include a Call for Papers and Sessions, and the deadline for receipt of proposals.
