Free seminar series by the AGU EPSP

The AGU Earth and Planetary Surface Processes (EPSP) social media and student committees have been working to put together a virtual series of science talks and professional development workshops for our community.

The new series, EPSP Connects, will be held monthly, is free and open to the public, and you will be able to join it online from the comfort of your home. Seminar topics will alternate between in-depth research talks and panel discussions focused on navigating life and careers in the Earth Sciences. Select science seminars will be made available online for a limited time, and a written summary of panel discussions will be available on the EPSP website. For more information about future seminars please visit https://connect.agu.org/epsp/discussion/epsp-connects.

The first event in the series will be held on Wednesday, June 17 at 17:00 local time (SAST) to the theme Navigating Postdocs. The seminar will be a discussion on best practices for applying to and getting the most out of postdocs, featuring panelists Corina Cerovski-Darriau (USGS), Noah Finnegan (UC Santa Cruz), Raleigh Martin (American Geosciences Institute), and Duna Roda-Boluda (GFZ-Potsdam).
