Abstract submission to SSAG conference now open

Abstract submissions for the SSAG Conference and Geography Students' Conference for 2020 are now open. Submissions close 2 March. To submit you abstract, please use one the links below:

There will also be a special session on Wetland Origins, convened by Prof Fred Ellery (Rhodes University). The aim of the session is to bring people working on wetlands, with a paleoenvironmental, geomorphological or sedimentological background, together. It seeks to broaden the understanding of wetland origins and work towards a special issue. If your work aligns with the topic of this sessions, please indicate this when submitting your abstract.

There will also be a Book Celebration, to give a platform to those of you who have recently published a book or have an upcoming release. By participating you will able to engage with your audience and promote and sell your publication. Please send an email to if you are interested in promoting your work through this platform.
