Geography lecturing position at University of Iowa

A little bit further afield but the University of Northern Iowa's Department of Geography invites applications for an Instructor of Geography. This is a full-time (9-month) two-year term position beginning August 2020.


Expected teaching responsibilities include four sections per semester, which will include introductory geography courses (world, human, and/or physical), GIS, and an upper division in the specialty of the Instructor.


Minimum requirements

A Master’s degree is required at the time of appointment.

Demonstrated expertise and excellence in teaching also required.

A Master’s degree in Geography is preferred, although closely related disciplines will be considered.
