Our current President is Professor David Hedding from the University of South Africa. Our past President is Dr Jay le Roux from the University of the Free State. Our President Elect is Ms Christel Hansen from the University of Pretoria. The remaining members of our Council are Professor Heinz Beckedahl from the University of Swaziland (Swaziland), Dr Frank Eckardt from the University of Cape Town, Mr Sizwe Mabaso from the University of Swaziland (Swaziland), Dr Thomas Marambanyika from Midlands State University (Zimbabwe), Dr Lindie Smith-Adao from the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), and Dr Bennie van der Waal from Rhodes University. Dr Smith-Adao and Dr van der Waal represent South African Interests on the Council. Mr Mabaso represents Swaziland interests on the Council, while Dr Marambanyika represents Zimbabwean interests.
