Student travel grants to ICAR 2020

ICAR is offering student grants to attend their conference to be held in Swakopmund from 12-17 July 2020.

Applicants need to provide the following in their application:

  • Summary CV of education and academic record

  • Proof of postgraduate eligible status from their supervisor/tutor, lab head or institution

  • Outline budget breakdown to show how the travel grant will be used (note that Visa costs and travel to obtain visa documents are not supported budget items)

  • List of any additional funding that they might have secured.

  • Travel grant will only be released after the necessary Visa has been obtained. 

  • Applicants are responsible for obtaining any Visas and/or travel documentation required

  • Copy of the abstract submitted to the ICAR 2020 conference.

Students who are not presenting research are also encouraged to apply however they will work part-time as volunteers at the conference. Application deadline is 28 of January 2020.
