Voices of the landscape workshop- who are our stakeholders

Join us for our biennial conference workshop on 18 July! This workshop delves into effective strategies for stakeholder engagement aimed at researchers, professionals, and community members. Scheduled from 08:00 to 12:45 at the Kleinplaas Conference Centre, the cost is R 250 per participant, including light refreshments.

The event will feature presentations, a panel discussion, and a focus group activity focused on creating a stakeholder engagement plan related to land degradation. The intended audience includes researchers, environmental professionals, industry representatives, policymakers, and community leaders. Key goals are to provide insights into best practices for stakeholder engagement, teach practical collaboration tools, examine case studies, address challenges and solutions, and offer networking opportunities with other professionals. The agenda includes a welcome, presentations, a panel discussion, a tea break, the focus group activity, and closing remarks. Registration ends on 15 June 2025. Even if you are not joining our conference, you are welcome to attend the workshop.
