Membership fees for 2021

Since the COVID-19 pandemic many of us have been affected in numerous ways. We also acknowledge that many of us have been affected negatively regarding field work, consulting work, and importantly, income streams. We at SAAG have tried to keep you, our members, updated on all things geomorphology in southern Africa, and sometimes even other disciplines, during these difficult times. Our members are important to us and the SAAG Council has taken the decision to do away with membership fees for 2021 for our current members.

Those of you who hold membership from the previous conference until the end of 2021 (2019-2021) will have their membership automatically extended at no cost for the same upcoming period (2021-2023).

Those of you who joined us this year (membership for 2021) will have their membership automatically extended at no cost for the same upcoming period (2022).

Those wishing to join SAAG in 2021 must still pay the required membership fee. However, their membership duration will be double than the normal duration, i.e. payment for this year grants the member a two-year membership.

We hope that this initiative will bring some relief to our members. Membership certificates will be issued in due course.
